The Science

What Is Hydrogen Water?

The K8 uses electrolysis to split the water molecule and infuse it with molecular hydrogen (H₂). Hydrogen molecules are small enough to get inside every cell in your body, where they neutralize free radicals tied to inflammation, early aging, and chronic disease. It's one of the most studied antioxidants in recent science.

The measurable number is called ORP, or Oxidation-Reduction Potential. Tap water and most bottled water carry a positive ORP, which means they're slowly oxidizing your cells. Kangen Water produces a strongly negative ORP. Every sip is working against oxidative stress instead of adding to it.

The Supplement

Ukon. Not All Turmeric Is the Same.

Turmeric has been used for centuries. Most of the world's supply today is grown in bulk conditions that leave very little of the active compound behind. Enagic's Ukon starts with different soil, a different harvest, and a different standard entirely.

What Makes It Special

Okinawa has one of the highest concentrations of centenarians anywhere on earth. Spring Ukon (春ウコン) has been part of Okinawan health practice for generations. Enagic grows it themselves on that same volcanic soil.

Volcanic Soil = Superior Bioavailability

The volcanic soil in Okinawa produces turmeric with significantly higher curcumin content than commercially farmed turmeric. Curcumin is the compound doing all the work, so where you grow it matters a lot.

Spring vs. Fall Harvest

Most turmeric is fall-harvested because that's when you get the most volume. Enagic uses Spring Ukon. Smaller yield, significantly higher concentration of active compounds. They took the quality route.

Hi, I'm Melissa. Former nurse. Now a full-time homesteading mom of four boys (with baby number five on the way), building a life around freedom, nature, and intentional living on five acres in Quebec.

A few years ago, my life looked completely different. I had a stable nursing job, following the "safe" path everyone told me to take. On paper, everything looked fine. But deep down, I knew I wanted more. More freedom. More time with my family. More purpose.

I was tired of leaving them every morning and rushing back to get them at dinnertime. 48 hours of freedom in a week isn't enough when you've got a family to raise.

I discovered a community of entrepreneurs who believed in building a business differently — not just about income, but about creating options. I realized that freedom isn't something you wait for. It's something you intentionally build.

Today, I live on our 5 acres with my husband Phil, our four boys, and a fifth baby on the way — surrounded by nature, chickens, ducks, two cats, a dog, and a life we've intentionally created. I spend my days raising my family, building my business, and helping others create income without sacrificing what matters most.
